Anthony's Marsh's Jr's reboot project of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (MMPR as mostly known for short) was going to be an upcoming non-commercial fan-film reboot project based on Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the first entry of the Power Rangers franchise that was created by the show's creator, Haim Saban. It was earlier being developed by Anthony Marsh, Jr , who previously consulted his Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy fan-film Power Rangers LG: The Rise of Trakeena , but decided to drop this project in favor of a Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy fan-film reboot project.
This MMPR reboot is unlike its original TV predecessor that aired in 1993-96, rather, it's a new modern take on the original series and as it empasizes a dark and gritty tone. Like most planned reboot projects by most fans, Marsh's version of MMPR was going to be almost roughly like its TV counterpart but revamped it with an alternate timeline and an untold story.
It was also confirmed that Marsh's planned reboot of MMPR would help commemorate the 20th Anniversary of the 1995 original movie of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
Unfortunately on August 7, 2013, this fan-project of MMPR by Marsh has been disclosed, in favor of a fan-film adaptation of Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy (2014 Fan-Film) currently set for a release in 2014 instead.
